Spring Green Juice

Start spring off healthy by begiining your day with a great detox juice! It tastes better than it looks! :-)

 

Using a juicer

Ingredients: 
• 1 Apple 
• 2 stalks celery 
• 1 – 2 cucumbers 
• 1 pear 
• 1 – 2 cups kale or spinach (or both)

 

Directions: 
Juice, stir and enjoy!

 

Spring Green Juice – using blender

Using a blender

Ingredients 
• 1 green apple, chopped 
• 2 celery stalks, chopped into one-inch pieces 
• 1 small salad cucumbers, peeled and sliced/chopped 
• 1/2 pear, chopped 
• 2 cups water 
• ½ cup of spinach (or kale), torn into one-inch pieces

 

Directions 
In a NutriBullet or Vitamix (or other high-speed blender), blend all ingredients except the spinach (or kale). Once liquefied, add spinach (or kale) and blend on highest speed until greens are completely liquefied, about 1 to 2 minutes. Let settle in blender. Position a mesh strainer over a glass measuring cup or bowl. Pour the blender ingredients into the strainer, using a large spoon, spatula or your hands to squeeze all the juice out of the mixture. Pour juice into a large glass and enjoy! May also be covered and stored in refrigerator for 2 days.
