I consider myself one of the lucky ones to have been asked to serve on the board of Princeton's Family YMCA. Lucky because it focuses on the values that should matter most to people in the community: family, friends, health and wellness, and inclusiveness. It's the one organization in town where the community can truly come together as one, across our town's diverse range of socioeconomic groups. It is a place where kids can have a safe space to learn and grow, a place where others can be mentors and role models, a place where one can engage in activities and make new friends. A place where YOU can make a positive difference. This is the Why for my Y.
Come see how you can be part of the family, by joining me in this Saturday's 5k/10k run at 9am at ETS. For info and to register, go to www.princetonymca.org.
