CELERY! Yes...People are talking about celery juice! As a health coach, my clients often ask me about health and nutrition trends they read or hear about on their various news feeds and digital reads. Recently, I’ve been getting a lot of questions about celery juice, so I thought I’d provide you with a few of the latest reviews and research.

As always, please consult your physician or health practitioner before starting any new food, as some foods may have negative interactions with medication, supplements, or other illnesses.

It’s summer and the juice craze is hotter than ever! Juice bars are popping up all over -- from Starbuck’s Evolution Fresh to Kale Me Crazy in Atlanta (or fill in the blank with your local popular juice bar). Juicing has been associated with celebrity detoxes and cleanses from Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, and more -- and the trend has certainly gone mainstream. While you wouldn’t normally sit down to a plate of 10 vegetables/fruits, you can make a smoothie or juice with the equivalent amount and drink to your health!

With the cold and flu season upon us, it's important to eat healthy foods that are going to boost your immune system. My favorite juice to help zap out the sniffles is my Cold Buster Juice. It's a beverage made from chopped cantaloupe, blueberries, and cinnamon.

Six ounces of cantaloupe contain only 50 calories and has 100% of your daily recommended requirements of vitamin C and A. Vitamin C is known to boost the immune system and Vitamin A is an essential nutrient for smoother looking skin and for keeping mucous membrane cells healt...
